Late,late,late Karens Doodles DT Card!!

Hey everyone!!

Sorry I am sooooo late!! I was all over the place yesterday as I have not been too well lately....and today I had the pleaseure of going to hospital to have a camera shoved up my nose and down my throat!! Isn't that lovely?! LOL well lucky it wasn't half as bad as it sounds.

Anyways enough of my moaning......

This time around at Karen's Doodles our challenge is "Stitch It Up" We would like to see stitching on your projects, either real or faux :)

I unfortunaly don't have a sewing machine and I am not very good at drawing "faux" stitches lol but here is my attempt none the less.......

 I have used this adorable little mouse digi called "Bigsby Cookies" which is available at Karen's Store HERE

I have coloured him with my ProMarkers. My papers are from Papermania, I think the pack is called "Silent Night" and also I have used a small strip of Papermania gold Christmas vellum which I have hand glued lots of teeny tiny little gems onto.

I have been making lots of Father's Day cards but they have all been for friends or orders. But I have finally gotten around to this card which is actually for MY Dad lol The image reminds me of when I used to go fishing with him when I was younger :)

For my card I have used this super cute digi called Hattie and Buddie from Digi Stamp Boutique which I was lucky enough to win recently. I have coloured the image with my ProMarkers and added some stickles. My papers are from the Fizzy Moon xmas pack. I have used an X-Cut die for the scalloped circle and a Marianne Designs die for the swirls. My flowers,gems and pearls are from my stash.

The first of many Christmas Cards for 2012.....

This is my first Christmas card of 2012.....I'm getting started early this year as I have a lot to make.

This is also my first time EVER using hat pins :O ,shocking I know lol I have had a few for a while now and never used them, I think I was a bit afraid for some reason LOL. I think I did an Ok job but maybe they are sticking out a bit too much?! What do you guys think?

Here is my Birthday Balloon card........ 

For my card I have used a Gorjuss girl stamp from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with ProMarkers.To create the background, I hand drew some cloud shapes to make a stencil, I masked off the Gorjuss girl and then used my distress ink around the cloud stencil. My papers are from the Spring and New Arrival Forever Friends stacks.

I have made a Birthday card for my Mom, I think (and hope) she will see the funny side of it LOL!!

  I have used Karen's "Tissue Please" digi which is available HERE , which I have coloured with my ProMarkers. My sentiment is computer generated. I have used my "From me to you" embossing folder and then highlited some of the embossing with Stickles. My papers are from Papermania and gems are from my stash.

New stash and what I made with it :)

As soon as I saw the new Papermania Lucy Cromwell collection online I knew that I had to have some of it. It's very like the Henbury Lane collection only the paper is more sparkly and the stamps are clear :)

I bought the 6x6 paper stack and the Teacups stamp set (pic below)
